Everett, I heartily endorse minimal affects on our environment and hope to reduce the clutter in my office.

Could I suggest, as a “seasoned” editor, that you reread aloud what you’ve written before you post it? I found myself stumbling over little errors in your text that detract from your message. I make the same errors in my haste to post.

I did, however, link to this site and quote your article on writing and using WriteRoom that you wrote for http://www.writetodone.com. Good article.

Freedom, yes, absolutely. Freedom was my reason for becoming a minimalist (I, too, can’t wait to travel the world). With fewer things clogging up my closets, my living room, and my head, I’m lighter. Happier. Able to run away to anywhere!

I’ve got The Minimalist Path bookmarked, look forward to reading more. You look very happy in Australia, David. Congratulations for falling in love with your life.

Also look forward to more posts here at FBTS, it’s encouraging to find others on the same journey.
