Everett, this remains one of the most intriguing posts and great photos. I returned here to send the link to a friend who is not happy with The Minimalist Path's use of video (she thinks that defies minimalism), and also to see the photo again. You are such a good photographer, and your list of 100 things made me grin--and think. Thanks. -Jan

I just wonder if all the work "outside" on "projects" is also kosher. I mean if it is so minimallistic as the lifestyle presented.

Thanks for the comment Jesse.

You can totally become location independent -- Position the goal of having freedom from location as your number one motive, and make every action that you take professionally lead you to that end. You'll be there in no time, the facilities to support an independent life exist, they're just a little bit challenging to discover.

Thanks for reading both FBTS and Lifestyle Exile!

Very nice guys! I started reading both of your blogs at about the same time...and added then both to my reader at the same time too!

I aspire to be location independent, but mostly so I can explore the US by backroads, I'm extremely envious of people like you Colin, keep it up and keep the great posts coming!
